Just A Few Words
About The Event
The Tasmanian Sub Branches of the Military Brotherhood Military Motorcycle Club (MBMMC) invites our mainland Branches to join us for RoundUp 2024.
The weekend will have something for everyone, starting Friday evening where we can all get to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
This year we have included an extra day so Sunday is crammed full of local activities, from golf, to deep sea fishing to wine tasting.
We also have a number of escorted half and full day rides planned to show off some more of our great scenery and superb roads.
The Thunder Run will be held on Monday 11 November, it is a 36km ride from St Helens to St Marys, along one of the iconic Tasmanian Bike rides.
There will be an official Remembrance Day events at St Helens and St Marys, consisting of a Dawn Service, March, and 11am Service.
We hope you take advantage of RoundUp to visit different parts of this great riding State, meet the locals, enjoy the sights, and partake in our great food and drink.

A Few Words
About The RU24 Committee
Worked commenced on the Tassie RoundUp long before RU22. Trying to find a location that could support the influx of our interstate members was a challenge in itself. Cost was going to be a big factor, just getting across the moat that separates us from the mainland is a big ticket item.
The Committee is made up of members from both the North and South Sub Branches. Being almost 300kms apart presented challenges, and both Branches are 260kms from the East Coast. Lots of phone calls, text messages and zoom calls made it a little easier, plus we conducted a number of trial runs at St Helens, Scamander and St Marys.
We worked collectively with a number of sponsors, community organisations, and local & state government politicians and their staff. We made sure we have a lot of community involvement, not just the accommodation venues, but local clubs and businesses. The overall response were they are more than happy to host MBMMC members and supporters over the RoundUp weekend.
To assist all MBMMC members and the staff of the venues we are attending throughout the weekend you will notice the Tasmania Members are wearing distinctive armbands, yellow for general staff and red for our paramedics. If you have any concerns during RoundUp seek out any one of our Staff and we will assist you.
From all the members of the two Tasmanian Sub Branches we look forward to catch up with old comrades and to making new friends, we hope you all also take this opportunity to meet the other members of your Club.
