Full Day Rides

  • Derby – Depart IGA carpark, Bowen St (Opposite the Ambulance Station), St Helens at 1000 and ride to Derby via the Welborough pass, stopping in at Pyengana cheese factory and Pub in the Paddock along the way. Lunch in Derby before returning to St Helens with a stop at the Welborough pub and shop in the bush for those looking for something you don’t need.

75km over a mountain pass. 1.5 hours one way, without stops.

  • Freycinet – Depart BP service station, St Helens at 0930 and ride to Freycinet, stopping in Bicheno along the way. View the iconic Wineglass Bay before having lunch at the Iluka Tavern in Coles Bay and returning to St Helens.

119km, coastal ride. 1.75 hours one way, without stops.

Half Day Rides

0930 – 1230 or 1400 - 1600

  • Pub in the Paddock – Depart Panorama Hotel, St Helens at 0930 and ride to the Pub in the Paddock for a bevy before returning to St Helens.

35km with a short gravel driveway leading to the pub.- 40 min with no stops – One way

  • Bicheno – Depart IGA carpark, Bowen St (Opposite the Ambulance Station), St Helens at 0930 and ride along the coast to Bicheno for a bevy before returning to St Helens.

60km, coastal ride. 1 hour – One way

Lunch Rides

  • Welborough Pub – Depart Panorama Hotel, St Helens at 1130 and ride to Welborough pub via the Welborough pass for a counter meal, before returning to St Helens by 1430.

36km of winding roads. 50 min– One way

  • Bicheno Lobster Shack – Depart IGA carpark, St Helens at 1130 and ride to Bicheno for lunch, before returning to St Helens by 1500.

60km, coastal ride. 1 hour– One way

  • Pub in the Paddock – Depart from the BP Service Ststion, St Helens at 1130 and ride to Pub in the Paddock for a counter meal, before returning to St Helens by 1430.

  • St Marys Hotel – Depart from Marine Rescue, Esplanade, St Helens at 1130 and ride to St Marys via St Marys pass for a counter meal, before returning to St Helens via Elephant pass by 1430.
