Eastern Districts Sporting Shooters – SSAA St Helens

The St Helens shooting club is offering members the opportunity of coming along and having a shoot. Bring along a few mates for a fun competition or just some plinking.

  • 50 m precision benchrest – .22 calibre rifle – Shoot a 50 cent piece at 50 m
    • 45 round match
    • 5 sighters
    • $15
  • 50 -100m Gallery target (Silhouette) – .22 calibre rifle
    • 40 round match
    • 2 X 5 sighters
    • $15
  • Pistol steel challenge. – .22 calibre pistol
    • 50 rounds
    • $15
  • 15 m Pistol target. – 9mm calibre pistol
    • 10 rounds
    • $10

Session times

All events will run concurrently.

  • 1000 – 1100
  • 1100 – 1200
  • 1200 – 1300 – Lunch and demonstrations
  • 1300 – 1400
  • 1400 – 1500

All session events are limited to 6 shooters

Onsite BBQ at member’s cost

5 min ride from St Helens towards Binalong Bay

Left hand rifles available – please specify when booking.

Between 1200 – 1300 – Western Action and black powder demonstration

Shooting club members will bring along a variety of firearms to admire

A Tasmanian firearms exemption form must be completed prior to participating in any event. The necessary documentation will be sent to members who sign up for shooting events.
