  • Pub in the Paddock –  Depart IGA car park, St Helens at 0900 (opposite the Ambulance Station, Bowen St) and enjoy a scenic drive along the coast to Bicheno for a coffee or bevy before returning to St Helens.

Nestled in the quiet rural village of Pyengana & licensed since 1880, you’ll find The Pub In The Paddock, the pub is now a Tasmanian Tourism Icon, having looked after many a weary traveller & local for generations. One of Tasmania’s oldest pubs, you’ll discover rich local history on every wall of the pub & let’s not forget Priscilla the Beer Drinking Pig who continues to draw a huge crowd every weekend!

  • Iron House – Depart BP service station at 0930 and ride to Iron House vineyard for a bevy before returning to St Helens.

    Stops along the way will include the Scamander River mouth, Iron House brewery and distillery, 4-mile Beach, Tasman Sea viewpoint, Waubs beach and The Farm Shed in Bicheno

Tour #2 Bay of Fires – this tour needs 10 – 13 people to go ahead

  • Depart IGA car park, St Helens at 0930 (opposite the Ambulance Station, Bowen St)) and enjoy a scenic drive along the Bay of Fires beaches and Skeleton Bay reserve before returning to St Helens.

Stops along the way will include with a stop at Jeanerette Beach, Sloop Reef, and the Gardens. A final stop at Meresta Eatery which overlooks Binalong Bay for a bevy before returning via skeleton Bay.

What exactly is Dragon Boat Racing?

Dragon boating is a fun, team-building activity whereby teams of people board long, canoe-shaped boats and compete in races against each other. Now you may be wondering where dragons come into it; don’t worry, there’s no fire involved – it’s just because the boats are carved and painted to look like them.

Life jacket supplied, but numbers of XL and XXL limited, please book early so we can ensure there are enough jackets for everyone.

Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear.

The session is subject to suitable weather on the day.

  • From the Burns Bay Boat Ramp carpark set off along the path via the Point to Beerbarrel Beach. Here you emerge into another car park and follow the gravel roads back to Burns Bay. Along the way are a few vantage points to small beaches and inlets which are quite secluded.
